Mission Oaks

Mission Oaks is a paseo-and-parks district on the eastern side of Camarillo, oriented around a network of paved trails connecting six neighborhood parks operated by the Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District. The anchor, Mission Oaks Park, opened in 1983 on 20.2 acres with lighted softball fields, six lighted tennis courts, a playground, and a scheduled off-leash dog area, and feeds a 1.5-mile paved trail linking to Woodcreek, Charter Oak, Pitts Ranch, and Calleguas Creek parks, plus city-designated trail segments along F Canyon and Calleguas Creek itself. Housing here is predominantly detached single-family product. Mission Oaks Boulevard doubles as the neighborhood's commercial spine: Mission Oaks Plaza, a Vons- and CVS-anchored center built in 1985, and The Plaza at Mission Oaks, home to a movie theater and Starbucks, sit on opposite ends, with a light-industrial and office corridor filling the boulevard's north side, including a more than 400,000-square-foot Rexford Industrial complex.
